"One by One"
Why include "One By One" here I hear you ask? After all you have a section devoted solely to "One By One" already on the site. And it was based on his books wasn't it?
Well the answer is easy: Dr. Taylor appeared in every episode in a Hitchcockian way. So he may have been a passerby, someone in the shop, in a crowd scene but he was always there! Ihave manged to spot quite a few of them but by no means all!
Also there are scenes which show Dr. Taylor's hands performing surgery, examinations etc.

"No.73" & "No.7T3"
No. 73 was a childrens Saturday morning magazine show which mixed reality with acting, music and comedic elements. It was made for the ITV regions and ran between 1983 and 1988.
During this time Dr Taylor made regular appearances initially as the vet who lived up the road, then as the boss of "Dawn" played by Andrea Arnold who was one of the presenters who lived at No. 73, and finally in more comedic roles. However throughout the series he was on hand to present various animals on the show and to explain how they live, how they are looked after by zoos etc.
There were a number of competions based around Dr Taylor and his segments including one in 1987 where the winner would be escorted to a trip to Madrid Zoo by Dr Taylor himself and "Dawn".
In 1984-1985 there was a spin off show with Dr Taylor and "Dawn" called Talking Animal in which each episode focussed on a single animal.
Below is a clip from No.73 from 1986 with Tony Harmsworth meeting "Dawn" and Dr. Taylor promoting a hunto to find "Nessie".
"Flying Vets"
